
Jake serves as Chair of the firm’s International Trade Practice. He has advised clients on all aspects of international trade for over a decade, with a focus on representing clients in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings. Jake is a subject matter expert and zealous advocate in trade remedy proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) and the Court of International Trade. Jake has significant experience representing differing parties in these proceedings, including U.S. producers, importers, and foreign producers.
Jake also advises clients on customs compliance, investigations, audits including issues related to tariffs, the Enforce and Protect Act (EAPA), valuation, and country of origin. Additionally, Jake advises clients on export controls and economic sanctions, including compliance, licenses, and disclosures.
Jake has represented clients in the steel, aluminum, forest products, renewable energy, aluminum, building materials, petrochemicals, advanced materials, consumer goods, life sciences, and technology industries
